A Boutique Hotel website – Queenstown House

I was recently asked to refresh the Queenstown House website for Louise Kiely, one of Queenstown’s most well known residents.  Her site has a highly individual look and feel that goes against many of the modern ‘rules’ of web design but it certainly suits her own style.  Until recently Louise was a board member of Destination Queenstown and she is still on the board of Heritage & Character Inns of New Zealand so her website and her depth of knowledge of the Queenstown tourist industry has been a very interesting experience for me.

Queenstown House is a boutique hotel very close the the centre of Queenstown itself (only 200 metres away) with luxurious rooms and suites including a honeymoon suite large enough to host your wedding reception.  The street that it is on, Hallenstein Street, is low enough to be a fairly easy walk back from the town centre but far enough up Queenstown Hill to get a fabulous view over the harbour and Lake Wakatipu.

Remarkable Theatre

The latest website from Kaimata Croft websites is Remarkable Theatre, the on-line home of the Remarkable Theatre Group, formerly Queenstown Shakespeare Trust.

The website is a simple, classic design with just a single page for now but I expect this to increase rapidly over the next few months to include images and information about past performances, details of the group itself and more information on upcoming productions.  The line drawing of the logo design follows the shape of the Remarkables mountain range which looms above Queenstown.
